A similar scenario in the automotive realm occurred when a starter motor pinion shaft was found to be defective due to burrs on certain components. We developed a method of deburring the components, but more importantly, it was a very low-cost method which made our client overjoyed, to say the least. Not only was the problem solved, but the solution was much cheaper than originally predicted. It is a great day when we make our clients happier than even they expected themselves to be.
