Energy Conversion and Storage Technologies

Protomatic is a bit different than most job shops in that our team can help you develop your energy conversion device. Our multi-disciplinary team has many talents from which to choose: physics, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, manufacturing engineering and electrical engineering. Recently, we have been involved in the design and manufacture of oil extraction devices for algae, soy beans, rapeseed, canola, jatropha, and camelina. Jatropha and camelina are oilseed crops that can be used to make biodiesel, an environmentally friendly alternative to diesel fuel. We are also proud to pursue greater sustainability by our involvement in ethanol production from corn and switch grass. Protomatic is capable of supporting your project with the close familiarity and special needs necessary for such projects as micro generators, electro thermo generation, nuclear, chemical batteries, bio fuel production, and fuel cells.
