Photovoltaic (PV) Solar

Photovoltaics, the field of research dealing with production of electricity by means of solar power, has seen increased interest as of late due to heightened energy awareness. Assemblies of photovoltaic (PV) or solar cells are used in the manufacture of solar panels or photovoltaic arrays. Sometimes the term "solar cell" refers to sunlight-generated energy, while the term "photovoltaic" is used when the light source is unspecified. Regardless of naming conventions,  solar energy is the radiant light and heat from the sun that has long been harnessed by an ever-evolving range of technologies.

Protomatic has been exploring several new developments in photovoltaic (PV) and solar product manufacturing of alternative energy systems and how they will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels while impacting the energy generation and utilization markets of the future. We are excited about the possibilities available with solar energy, and we currently provide photovoltaic (PV) and solar products and the machine components utilized to manufacture semiconductors and semiconductor solar devices.
